As coordinator, I am delighted to write my first column for Special Interest Group (SIG) 3, Perspectives on Voice and Voice Disorders. With this New Year, there are several changes to the SIG 3 coordinating committee! I want to extend my warm welcome to our new Coordinating Committee members: Eric Hunter (assistant professor, Communicative Sciences and Disorders, Michigan State University), Kristine Tanner (assistant professor, Communication Disorders, Brigham Young University), and Derek Isetti (lecturer, Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, University of Pacific). Eric Hunter has joined the SIG 3 Coordinating Committee as a committee member, Kristine Tanner as the editor of Perspectives, and Derek Isetti as the SIG 3's professional development manager. I am thrilled to be working with so many talented individuals including Wendy LeBorne (clinical director, The Blain Block Institute for Voice Analysis and Rehabilitation) and Starr Cookman (speech- language pathologist, University of Connecticut Health Center, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery) on the SIG 3 coordinating committee! Wendy LeBorne is the associate coordinator for SIG 3. I would also like to thank Mary Sandage (assistant professor, Department of Communication Disorders, Auburn University) for volunteering her expertise as an associate editor for Perspectives! A special word of thanks to Ann-Mari Pierotti, our ex-officio at the ASHA National Office for her continued support and assistance.
