Have you had difficulty getting reimbursed from Aetna for voice therapy? If so, you are not alone. Aetna appears to have placed a bit of a maze in the form of a convoluted policy between you and your well-deserved payment. For fun, there are also some hoops of fire and other death-defying circus acts for you to overcome. While some see this maze as a challenge; more of us, I suspect, see this as intentional obfuscation in order to avoid reimbursement for effective and medically necessary health care services. Regardless, most of us are too busy to engage in what appears to be an exercise in futility.
