“Spring is the time of plans and projects.” - Tolstoy
I'll admit it. I've never read Anna Karenina. Each winter, particularly when I was in Wisconsin, that huge boulder of a book would sit on the nightstand staring at me…and each spring, when the perma-slush finally melted, I would place it back on the shelf, unread, in the hope that next year I would find the motivation to finish Tolstoy's masterwork. Perhaps spring would have been a better time for such an undertaking, with its longer, brighter days helping us to stay more active and engaged. Maybe Tolstoy was right, then, Spring really is a better time for plans and projects. To that end, the Special Interest Group (SIG) 3 Coordinating Committee has undertaken some new projects as well as kept our eyes on our ongoing goals.
