Greetings to all Division 3 affiliates!
Welcome to our first 2006 issue of Perspectives. This year, we will feature three new topics: Laryngo-phageal Reflux Disease and Irritable Larynx Syndrome (March), Head and Neck Cancer (July), and Laryngotracheal Reconstruction (November). If you are a new affiliate to Division 3, I can promise that you will enjoy reading and learning from our continuing education publication, which is very well served by our many volunteers. Our Editor Bari Hoffman Ruddy and Associate Editor Susan Baker are beginning their second full year working as a team. Judy Wingate is our Index and Continuing Education (CE) question Editor. Our CE Administrator is Shelley von Berg, supported by our standing CE committee members: Linda Carroll, Wendy LeBorgne, and Sherry Zelazny. Finally, Jean White serves as our ASHA Staff Editor. We extend our thanks to each for such a strong contribution to the professional quality of our Division’s publication. Current affiliates who read Perspectives articles and respond to CE questions are eligible to earn CEUs in 2006.
