As the last issue of the Division Newsletter for 2000, my comments will address activity updates, ASHA Convention offerings, and personal farewells. On the election front, your nomination/voting participation has created an excellent new team beginning January 2001. As my term ends in December, Julie Barkmeier will assume the role of Coordinator. Kim Fisher consented to and was reappointed for a second term and will continue her role as Associate Coordinator. We welcome Glenn Bunting as our newest Steering Committee member who joins the ongoing terms of Kittie Verdolini and Steve McFarlane. It has been my privilege to work with these professionals over the past years, with the comfort of knowing the division is left in capable hands.
