This newsletter marks the beginning of an exciting new format. (Don’t worry—I’m not going to start talking about changes as we enter the new…well, I can’t even bring myself to type that overused “m” word.) Rather, I’m referring to our new column editors. Robin Samlan at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, and Celia Bassich-Zeren in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Towson University, Towson, MD, will be co-editing a column dedicated to clinical issues. Sue Ellen Lin ville, at the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology, Marquette University, Milwaukee, will be editing a column focusing on research topics, both basic and applied. Together with Phil Doyle at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada, (and of course, our fearless leader, Doug) we’ve got a great team (that will expand as the year progresses) who are working hard to make this newsletter a useful publication for all readers. If you’d like to contribute or suggest a topic, contact me and/or the individual column editors (behrman@lij.edu; rsamlan@jhmi.edu; cbassich@towson.edu; pdoyle@julian.uwo.ca; 65331inville@marquette.edu). Happy reading.
